On the personal side of things, I have lived in Sanilac County since 1994 and with my husband, Mark, I have raised 6 children. I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs, Tipper, Lucy, and Annie. I also love working with my horses and volunteer my time to work with Sanilac County Freedom Riders — a group that assists special needs children and adults in equine therapy.

Thank you for taking the time to review my profile! I have been around the real estate industry for most of my life and got licensed thru the State of Michigan in 2005. I am a member of my local Realtor Association’s Board of Directors and am currently working towards getting my broker license. This is a full time career for me and I will give you everything I’ve got in order to get you the results you are needing.

I have listed and sold many homes and I also sell vacant land. I love to work with 1st time home buyers and have had quite a few VA buyers but am also very comfortable with helping people buy or sell their secondary/vacation homes. I received my real estate license in 2002 and for a time held an appraisers license as well. Along with a background in residential construction housing has been part of my business for the better part of my adult working years. Using this knowledge and experience I personally did over 1200 broker price opinions for clients such as Freddie Mac, Chase, and the VA during the mortgage meltdown. As a Realtor and auctioneer I have sold real estate (both at auction and conventional real estate) in excess of several million dollars. I provide straightforward service for my clients with an emphasis on the ethics of agency. I am passionate about my work whether it’s as a realtor or in the auction ring.

I have made Sanilac County my home for the past 24 years and along with my wife, Kim, I have raised 6 children here. Michigan is great place to live, work, and, play and I enjoy helping others make it their home too.

Connie Murray

Connie Murray views fairness, hard work, and detail as an important part of every real estate transaction. She started her real estate sales career in 2011 with Hart Realty working persistently with sellers and buyers from Sanilac County, St Clair County, Huron County, Tuscola County and Lapeer County.

She started her sales career working in the local hardware store in Capac Michigan at the age of 15. Growing up in the thumb area and living there her whole life gave her some firsthand knowledge on how the area works. During the last 35 years, she spent most of her working career in sales. Sometimes in a retail setting such as Gambles, Lowes and other times as a direct sales consultant and being invited into someone’s home for the sales.

The foundation of her life is built on family and friends being an important part of every equation. Having 4 children and 6 grandchildren gives her an essential connection with families wanting to expand or invest for the first time. She appreciates what those families are looking for and works hard to find it. Treating every person exactly as she would want her family and friends treated makes her a valuable asset for the buyers and sellers.

As an active member of St Clair County 4H Leaders Council and St Clair County 4h Horse Council for 15 years and Sanilac County 4H for 8 years, she has a connection to the communities in the thumb that gives her good visualization.

She and her husband live in Deckerville MI. They enjoy living in the slower paced farm community.

I received my original real estate license back in the ‘80’s when I was heavily involved in Property Management and the leasing of over 5000 inner-city apartments ranging from subsidized to Luxury style apartments.  Later, I became a licensed real estate appraiser as well as owning my own appraisal firm based upon integrity.
